Day 49

It's been a good day. I got up and made muffins. Then I went to see the Braves' spring training home opener. It was hot outside! I got a little burnt on my shoulders... guess I'll need to lay out tomorrow to even out that tan! I also have raccoon eyes from my sunglasses. Sad day. The game was so fun! I took lots of great pics. I can't wait to go see them play more!

They lost 5-4 to the Mets. I could go into the details of the game, but I won't. The first base ump was AWFUL! He blew 3 calls for sure! After the game I came home and showered before taking a nap. Me and Katie and Emily all cooked dinner together. We had spaghetti and salad. It was delish. Then I headed to work. Work was long. I was supposed to work 7pm-1am, but I got an ER so I left at 12:30. Me and some of my friends from work were going to go to Steak and Shake. I was going to pick up Jen because she got done before we did. I also needed to change clothes before heading over. Well, Jen wasn't ready to go and by the time I got home I was exhausted. I also realized that the nearest Steak and Shake was 20 minutes away and that was NOT going to happen tonight for me. SO anyways, now I'm home and ready for some sleep.

Day 48... Princess 5K!

Today was my first of several Disney 5K's! I ran the Disney Beauty and the Beast Royal 5K! Or as most people just called it, the Princess 5K! Me and my loyal fan and roommate, Jackie, left the house at 6 this morning. It was super early. We got to Epcot and danced a little bit to the DJ's music. I got in line to run. It was an amazing run! I felt good and after mile 1 I realized I had just run an 11 minute mile... not something I've done since high school! So as I ran around the world showcase and got to mile 2 I realized I was still running an 11 minute mile! I was so excited! It was cool to run a Disney race because they had Disney princesses stationed throughout the course and you could stop and take your picture with them. I didn't stop though! Mile 3 came around and I was feeling my cereal a little bit but I kept on truckin'! At the end it felt SO GOOD to run across that finish line! My time was 33:44!!! I am so pleased with how I did this morning! Here are some pics from race day...

So we came home and I showered and headed to the Wide World of Sports to see if the Braves were practicing again while Jackie went back to bed. I got to see Chipper and Prado and Uggla up close! It was awesome! I also got 2 home run baseballs during batting practice! One of them I chased down myself. The other one, some jerk who was catching EVERY ONE OF THEM gave it to me because he stole the catch from me. If I'd had my glove I totally would have caught it! I'll remember that next time. I didn't get to see all of the Braves players because half of them were in Port St. Lucie playing in a scrimmage. I am super excited about getting to see some spring training games! I was crushed when he denied us of autographs today... my heart broke into a million pieces. I can't believe he's a rude, cussin' baseball player. Guess I won't be marrying him after all...

After that I came home and thought about taking a nap. As I went to lay down, I glanced at my calendar and boy, I'm glad I did! I forgot I had taken a shift for someone today and had to be at work at 3! I took a 30 minute nap and went to work. Work went really well! I met 2 different couples from TN and one of them even knew Lipscomb and said they were members of a church of Christ too! I got to merchantain today too! This means that I got paid as if I were working a register, but instead I got to walk around and hand out stickers while wearing minnie ears and a minnie apron! I love merchantaining! It's so fun! One of the managers was encouraging everyone to put in an early release request because we were over-staffed tonight, so instead of working an 8 hour shift, I settled for 5!

I sat in a crazy amount of traffic before getting home. Me and Katie went to Magic Kingdom. We were so exhausted so of course we laughed like crazy people the whole entire time! I loved it! Now I'm home and I'm ready for bed. Not sure what tomorrow is going to bring except for a new day!

Day 47

Today was a good day. I got up and went to the race expo for my 5K tomorrow. The lines were forever long to get my race t-shirt and bib number and stuff so I had to leave because I had work at 12. On my way out of the Wide World of Sports I noticed people going into the Braves' field so I strolled on over there. The Braves were practicing!!! I was super STOKED!! I only got to stop to watch them for a few minutes, but I did get to see Heyward! I love my Braves! I'm SO ready for baseball season!!! So I left there and ran home to get ready for work. Work was good. I worked in the one stock room I haven't worked in before. It was not my favorite at all. I didn't like it. So after work I headed back to the expo and picked up my race package. I came home and picked up the roomies. We headed out to grab dinner and they got ice cream. Then I ran by the grocery store before heading back home. We had so much fun in the car. Traffic was nuts-o so we just jammed out to music and danced! It was a blast! I'm going to bed pretty soon because I have to be at Epcot at 6:15 in the morning for my race! I think Jackie is going to come watch me! I'm super pumped. Oh and also today I decided that I want to run a half-marathon. I think I can do it! It's all about willpower right? I already know I can run 4-5 miles. What's 9 more right? Haha, I know it's not that simple, but by the end of the year I want to have ran a half-marathon! I think I'm also going to go see if the Braves are practicing after my race tomorrow too!

Day 46 (but really day 45 too...)

So before I talk about today, I need to recap yesterday!

Yesterday I went to Universal with Katie! We had SO much fun! We rode so many awesome rides!!! Here are some pictures from our amazing day!

So long story short, yesterday was AWESOME!!! Ok so today...

Today was great. I got up and went to work at 10:15. It was a great day at work! I had fun and loved what I was doing. BUT then a guy came up and proceeded to tell me how awful of a time he'd had at Disney and how upset he was that he'd spent so much money to come here and we did an awful job. He said that his kid could only ride 5 rides and that was wrong. Basically it was my fault that he had a terrible experience at Disney. I just kept apologizing... what else was I supposed to do?! So that put a damper on my day. But it did get better. I got done working at 5:15 and thought I was going to get to see my friend John, but he bailed on me because he got stuck in shuttle launch traffic. I was sad. So me and my roommates went to play grocery bingo at another apartment complex. We finally won on the last game! Jackie won us an awesome grocery package!!! We came back and then Jackie and I went to get the best ice cream in the world at Twistee Treat! LOVE THAT ICE CREAM!! Now I'm about to go for a run and watch a movie!

Day 44

Today was a great day! I got up and went to Epcot to do some more hidden mickey hunting. After that I came home and went for a run... I ate Chinese too close to the time I went for my run so I didn't feel so well during the run. Therefore, my time wasn't good.

Work was great! I got to perform a magical moment tonight! We have a number that we can call where Goofy wishes you happy birthday and sings to you. So I had this one guest who had her daughter with her. The little girl proceeded to tell me that her birthday was soon. I asked her how old she was going to be. She said 5. So I asked her if she was going to get to go to school next year and she very excitedly said yes! I told her that I thought someone had called for her earlier. I told her they had left a message for her. As her mom looked at me with a puzzled look (which was hilarious), I called the Goofy b-day message number and handed her the phone. Her eyes lit up when Goofy started singing to her! It was so rewarding to see her face and how excited she got! I simply love moments like that! It makes me job so much more fun!!

After work, I took some friends home and came back. Now I'm going to settle in and watch a movie before heading to bed. Tomorrow me and Katie are going to Universal!

Day 43

Today was my "me" day. I got up and ate breakfast, called Rob. Co. Schools to see what they are going to do about a job for me potentially since I have Christian Co. KY wanting me to come teach there. However, Rob. Co. says they don't have my application (which I mailed in before Christmas), so I have to fill out the 13 page application again. Ugh. Not what I wanted to hear from them. After that I went to Hollywood Studios and rode a few rides and searched for hidden mickeys. I love just searching for them alone. Sounds kinda weird, but it's time I get to just be by myself. I need that once a week I've discovered.

When I got back, I had to go to work. I didn't run today but fully plan on running every day the rest of this week since my race is on Saturday!!!

Work was good. I love my friends at work. I feel like I say that every night in my blog, but seriously. Danilo, Kelly, Kelli, Jen, Brittany, Audrianna, Kate, Melissa, and so many others. I love them all so much! They make working worth while. I'm really sad that the Brazilian students are going to be leaving in the next week. Some have already left. I've made some amazing friends in them and I wish I'd had longer with them!

Tomorrow I think I'm going to go to Epcot for more hidden mickey searching. I work at 6 tomorrow night so I've still got plenty of time to enjoy the parks! I love that I'm able to go play in the park every day before work. It was surreal for a few moments again today when I started thinking about it again. I love what I do, but now that a potential job offer has come up, I'm also really excited to get home and get my first real job!!!

Day 42

Another good day in sunny Florida!

I got up and went to the store to buy my discounted annual pass to Universal!! Turns out I didn't even need to buy the cokes to get the discount, so the lady at customer service let me return them! Ballin'!

When I came home, I went for my run. It was a good one today. Ashley came home and after showering, we headed to Universal! We rode lots of rides. I have discovered my new favorite roller coaster... Rip Ride Rockit! It's AMAZING!!! You get to pick what song you want to listen to while you're on it. You climb straight up instead of a gradual hill. It was SO great! I loved it! Me and Ash had a blast! We grabbed some dinner and then headed to the KC and the Sunshine Band concert at Universal!! It was awesome! All the old people were there and gettin' down! We had so much fun just dancing and singing! Here are some pics from our day...

I loved every second of today! I even got to skype with Nathan, Ethan, Elizabeth, and Brooke tonight! I miss everyone SO super much! Now I'm finishing watching Batman and then headed to bed! I love this life I'm living!

Day 41

I don't know why I get this way sometimes, but some days are just bum days. I don't want to be around people, I don't want to do anything, and I just feel blah. I got up this morning and made some fabulous banana bread before going to lay out for a while. I came back to the apartment and chatted with my bestie, Heather Philippi. I took a way too short nap and then got ready for work.

Work was fun. I love the people I work with. I don't think I can say it enough! Me and Jen always have way too much fun! I got handed a "Do You Know Jesus?" pamphlet at work by a 7 year old girl. That was interesting. I also came home to all of my roommates awake for a change. Tomorrow I'm buying my Universal pass and going to see KC and the Sunshine Band!!! Super pumped about that! Oh and I got a phone call tonight about a possible job in Hopkinsville, KY for next school year. I have to call the principal back tomorrow. I wasn't planning on making these kinds of big job decisions yet, but I guess real life calls...

Day 40

Today was peaceful. I got up and ate some cereal. I'd like to say it was my breakfast, but in reality I didn't wake up until 11:30 so we'll call it lunch. I went and ran some errands before coming home to go on a run. I really don't like running, but there's just something about the way I feel when I get done with a run. I love it! After my run, I showered and settled in on the couch with my blanket and watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It was a good "me" day. I love those days.

I had to work at 6:45. It was a long day. I did not get enough me time earlier in the day. I wasn't in the mood to entertain guests and be cheerful. I was tired and moody. Not a good combo. We were super busy tonight too. So that didn't help my situation. I worked until 1:30. That was a blast... (extreme sarcasm). After work, I took some of my friends from Argentina and Brazil back to their apartments and then headed home. Now I'm about to head to bed. What an exhausting evening!

Day 39

I love the life I get to live! Today me, Katie, Emily, and Jackie were all off from work so we all went to Typhoon Lagoon! Then our friend Justin and a new friend, Tim, met us there! We soaked up the sun like pros! I'm getting some pretty sweet tan lines! We didn't do a lot of rides, but something I forgot to write about the other day was that we got to swim with sharks! They have a shark reef where you can snorkel in salt water with the sharks and fish! It was SO fun!

When the clouds started to come out, we stopped to get some chik-fil-a and then headed home. We all showered and then went to get some ice cream at our new favorite spot: Twistee Treat. It's SO stinkin' good! AND CHEAP! Love it!

Then we came home and watched Dirty Dancing and Dirty Dancing Havana Nights! It was an awesome girls night and I love those girls so much! We laugh way more than the average person and I love every second of it! I have to work tomorrow... blah. But it's ok because I had multiple random dance parties today and got even more tan!

Oh and tonight I got to skype with John and Stephen for a couple of hours... what a great way to end a great night!

Day 38... So content!

I love life! I love where I am, who I am, and everything and everyone surrounding me! God has blessed me beyond what I could ever ask for! I was laying in bed last night thinking about things and I am truly content. I am content with myself: the woman I am, how I look, the life I lead. I have truly turned things around in the past month since being here at Disney. God is good!

I really feel confident in myself. This is only through God. I am excited to see where God is leading me next!

So on to my day...

Today I got up and me and Katie went to the pool. We came back and ate a late lunch. I had to head to work at 2:45. We had a class at work that I had to sit through and then I worked til 11:15. It was an interesting day. I love the people I work with! Them and the people I get to interact with make this job so much fun!

I was on register today. After my second break, I got assigned to merchantaining! That means I got to wear a pirate hat and carry a sword and walk around and play with kids! It was SO much fun! I got paid to just have fun with guests! After that, one of my managers asked me to pick up a register for someone that needed to go on break so I did that. It was fine until I got a guest, who is also a cast member, who didn't want to abide by our cast member discount policies. Long story short, the guy got money from the person next to him to pay for something that was using his discount... we can't do that. I could get terminated. He was very rude about it to me and finally a coordinator came and helped me. She told me to just do the transaction and she'd make sure I didn't get in trouble.

After that I wasn't in the best mood. And then my last guest of the night, with a line of people behind her, when I was supposed to be done already, took forever! I did get paid a little extra tonight for staying longer than I was supposed to. When I got off work, I got to talk to my friend Ty on the phone which was a bright spot in my night that had only seemed to go downhill. After that I was in a good mood! I got home and 4 of my roommates were up chatting! We just had a good time talking and I told them my interesting stories from the night. Oh and one of my friends at work is apparently a wiccan. It was interesting to find that out. Also, when I mentioned that tonight, one of my roommates said she is too, so that was news to me. Like I've said before, my roommates and I are all so different, but get along so well. God blessed me and I don't deserve the goodness he's shown me in my loving roommates.

So now everyone is in bed and I'm up blogging as usual. I get tomorrow off and so are 3 of my other roommates. We're either going to go to Universal or Typhoon Lagoon.

Day 37... WATER PARK AWESOMENESS!!!

Today was AWESOME!!! It was one of my days off. Me and Katie got up and went to Typhoon Lagoon!! We were there for like 5 hours. It was so much fun! We are totally going to be bronze beauties by the time we leave in May! I am already getting really tan! Here are a few pics from our awesome day... I only wish I had a waterproof camera so I could capture the absolute AWESOME moments on the water slides!

We had so much fun! The water coaster was the BEST! So we came home and showered off the sand and then headed to Downtown Disney. We had a lovely roomie date. We went to Earl of Sandwich and then shopped a little bit. Then I went to Ghiradelli! SO good! We watched the dance party that was going on at the stage. It was hilarious to watch those kids!

When we got home, I changed and skyped in for bible study with my wonderful friends at home! It was so good to see them and hear the lesson! I love them all so much and miss the a lot! I have spent some time with the roomies and am not getting ready to watch Pretty Little Liars before heading to bed. What a great night!

Day 36... Valentine's Day

Oh Valentine's Day. A day where people buy candy and cards and flowers for those they love. Some spend their money on their loved ones, others give their time. I'm a time person. I love when people just spend time with me. So if prince charming is out there somewhere and wants to drop in anytime soon, no flowers or candy is needed... just your time.

My Valentine's Day was a good day! I got up this morning and went to the driving range! It felt so good to get out there and hit again! Then I went grocery shopping. I got a card from my sister today!! I miss her so much! Then I went to work. Work was good. My roomie, Katie, and I planned to go see a movie after I got done with work because I was only working til 10:30. However, I requested early release and got it! I was done at 9:30 and headed home. Me and her and our friend Chaz headed to the movies. We had a fun time.

Oh and I forgot to mention that there was a lot of baking going on in my apartment today! Emily made these AMAZING monster cookies and Katie made cupcakes!! Oh dear, I'll never lose weight this way! So anyways, Valentine's Day was good. No I don't have a sweetheart to spend it with, but I do have some amazing friends who spend their time with me and love me for me. I hope that I can spend my time and give my love to all of my friends everyday. It's hard sometimes, but I want to be able to say that I loved to the best of my ability at the end of my time here on earth. I have a quote in my bathroom that says the greatest thing in life is to love and to be loved. I think that's so true. I want to live that out every day. Not just on Valentine's Day.

I'm so blessed to be loved by so many people and I thank God for that.

Day 35

Today is Sunday. Another week begins. Me and Emily got up this morning and headed for Celebration Assembly of God. It was our little Sunday morning adventure. We got there almost 30 minutes late, but it was ok because it's the journey that matters right? We take lots of journeys together because we (especially me) have no sense of direction! Anyways, church was good and then we came home. I went for a run. I ran on the treadmill today. It was AWESOME!!! I felt really good after not having ran for 3 days. Then I showered and hung out with the roomies for a while before going to work.

I guess at this point, I'm allowed to say that my sister is ENGAGED!!! She was engaged when I wrote last night, but I couldn't put anything online because she was going to have her sorority candlelight reveal thing! I'm so excited! Derek told me he was going to do it when I was at work yesterday! I love them both so much and I'm SUPER excited for Derek to finally be my official brother! They will have a long engagement because they are waiting til after they graduate to get married. Holli will graduate 2 years from this past December. I guess that gives her plenty of time to hammer out the details. I love my family so much, and I'm just sad I wasn't there to celebrate with them last night. Can't wait to hear about all the crazy details as they're planned!!!

So work was fun. I was on register tonight. SO much better than being in stock at 6am! After work, I headed home. Some random girl asked me for a ride when I passed the bus stop. I've never seen her before and she complained the whole time and was loud and obnoxious. I hope I never have to see her again. It was terrible. So now I'm home watching Hook for the second time today with Jacklyn! Love our fun times!

Day 34

I worked at 6 again this morning. It was miserable. I forgot my headphones so I didn't get to listen to music either. On the bright side, I worked an hour less than I did the other day when I had the same morning shift. So that was nice.

After work I came home and CRASHED! I was super tired! I took a nap and then Katie and Emily and Jacklyn and I headed to Hollywood Studios. The parks are extending their hours so after that we hit up Magic Kingdom... but at that point, we were exhausted so we didn't stay long. We rode it's a small world and headed home. Now I'm home and I'm getting ready to pass out! I think Emily and I are going to some Celebration church in the morning. I better get some sleep!

I just got done skyping with Shelby and Holli and my whole fam plus some! I loved it! I miss everyone SO much!!

Day 33

I have been here a month and 2 days! It's crazy that it's already been that long! I had today off so I went to Magic Kingdom by myself to do some hidden mickey hunting! Sounds lame, but it was pretty fun to try to search for them. I tried to find all of them in Toon Town because it will be closing tomorrow to make way for a Fantasyland expansion. After that, I just hit up the rides that didn't have a long line in hopes of finding the hidden mickeys there with my awesome hidden mickey book. Here are some pics of a few of those...

So when I got home, me and the roomies made dinner! It's the first time we've all been home to have dinner together! I made poppyseed chicken (minus the poppyseeds), Jacklyn made carrots, Katie made mashed potatoes, Meghan made salad, Ashley brought bread, and Emily made cheesecake! It was DELISH! Day 31 & 32

This morning I got up (on my day of) at 7am. BLAH! Why? Because they were having Disney Princess Look-a-like auditions for college program girls. Me and Emily and Jacklyn went. It was an interesting process. Some girls that were there were prepared to dance, others were in jeans, some were dressed up. We got there an hour ahead of time like it said in the email. We waited 2 hours in line before getting our number and going in the room. They took a group of us at a time and had us line up in rows in front of these two casting directors. They put on music and just smiled at us and told us to just smile back. Our of 50 girls in our room, they only picked 1 to come back.

It was SO super awkward. I will admit, I was sad. In the words of Jacklyn, "rejection is quick and painless." I agree with the first part, not the second. It's not fun to be told you aren't fit for something. Yes, I understand that each Disney princess has a very distinct look and you have to fit it perfectly to get picked, but it still hurts a little when you are actually rejected. None of the 3 of us got picked to move on. So after 2 hours of waiting to be rejected, we headed to Chik-fil-a for some breakfast/lunch. We came home and ate. Then I went to exchange my Dooney for a different one. We got in these 40th anniversary ones and I saw them last night. They are WAY cute! And since I haven't used mine very much, I decided to take it back! I love my new one!!! So when I got back, Em was already napping and I took the opportunity to take a 3 hour nap. It was wonderful! After some more lounging around, Emily and I headed to Epcot. We wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon today, but it was too cold this morning. Now it feels awesome outside (while it's snowing at home).

Epcot was a blast!! Me and Em walked around the countries and took lots of pics!

Katie and Justin joined us too! We had a blast! I got home and showered and needed to go to bed, but wanted to blog... too bad our internet wasn't working. That's why I'm writing 2 days in 1 blog.

I had to get up at the crack of dawn this morning. I got up at 4:45 AM! That's 3:45 at home! SO ridiculous. I had to be at work at 6am. It was terrible. All I did was stock. All. Day. Long. I worked til 3:30 and I was dead. When I got done, I came home and wanted to crash. Instead I skyped with my lovely friend Chris. That was fun. Then when Katie got home, me and Katie and Jacklyn and Meghan went to the pizza party at Chatham and then headed to Hollywood Studios. We rocked out Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror for the last hour the park was open! I LOVED IT! Then we went to get ice cream and I was SO delirious from how tired I was. I just wish I'd had a video camera to show how crazy I was being and how much my roomies were laughing at me! It was hilarious!!! So now we're at home and we're about to watch Spice World. I have tomorrow off so that's a bonus. YAY FOR ROOMIE FUN!!

Day 30

Another awesome day!

I got up and ran more errands today. Then I came home and decided to go for a run. I had an amazing run! I felt good and I was full of energy during my run! Then I came home and rested before heading to softball practice.

Softball was good too. I hit pretty well and I pitched the rest of the time. I got a shot hit to me back up the middle. It hit in my palm and it hurt SO bad! I already have a bruise forming :(

I had to leave practice early to go to work. After showering and packing my lunch I headed to work. It was a long night. I got done working at 1am and now I'm watching Pretty Little Liars while writing this blog. I'm sad I missed Glee tonight :( I'll have to watch it tomorrow.

Oh and I'm going to a princess face audition in the morning! I guess they're going to look at us and if we look like a princess they'll offer us a position... not really sure, but it should be interesting.

Day 29

What a day! I got up at 1. My roommate and I had a lovely breakfast (lunch) and headed to Magic Kingdom to see Aaron Rodgers in the parade! After running to get there (because I get lost easily and got turned around 2 times trying to just drive to Magic Kingdom) we made it there just in time. Problem: the parade had gotten pushed back because his plane was delayed. So Emily and I just walked around and shopped a little bit and then it was time for the parade!!

It was super awesome! Then I was late to work :( Oh well. It was worth it. Work was really fun! Me and Jen goofed off a lot. I worked in the Princess Room a lot. I love that room! When I came home my wonderful roommates were waiting up for me! I love them! We chatted and ate cheese and pickles and crackers and laughed for a while and then they all went to bed. Then I chatted with my friend John on skype and now I'm watching Glee! Love me some late nights!

Day 28

Today is Sunday to everyone on a somewhat normal schedule. Today is my Wednesday. I have 2 more days after today and then I get a day off!

This morning I got up (which was tough after 6 hours of sleep) and went to a different church that I haven't been to yet. It was a tiny church. We learned about proving God's will to ourselves and the world. This made me ask, "what does proving God's will look like; like how do we know what God's will is well enough to live it out?" I guess the answer I settled on for now was that if we can just follow the greatest command to love God and love others, we will in essence be living out God's will. It's interesting how we overcomplicate things sometimes. If we can just base everything off of loving God and others, life would be so much easier. I lose sight of this a lot of times.

Anyways, service was good and then I came back to the apartment and took a nap!

It wasn't a long enough nap. I got up and went to work. Work was SO long. I worked a 9 1/2 hour shift. Terrible. I was a walking zombie all night. Even my friends at work couldn't cheer me up. I was all out of fake Disney happy too. When I FINALLY got done, I had apparently missed a good Super Bowl, terrible half-time show, and AMAZING glee. Sad day.

I came home to 2 of my roomies who so lovingly shared their food and talk time with me. I love these girls. They know how to love me even when I'm not the happiest camper in the world.

Day 27

Why am I always hungry when I get home from work??? It's like 2:30 in the morning and I'm hungry! This is not good for my weight loss hopes!

Anyways, today was a good day. I laid out and got some errands run. I worked at 7 so I made so mac and cheese before I left. Glee was on all day long so OF COURSE I watched it as much as possible this afternoon! Work was a blast! I love so many of my co-workers! They're becoming close friends to me. I took several of them home tonight. 2 of them are from Brazil and 1 is from Argentina. I love them! Oh and Jen is from New Jersey. She cracks me up too. I worked until 1:30... it was a long, but fun, day.

Tomorrow (or I guess today) I'm working 2:30-midnight! That means I'm missing the Super Bowl AND the new Glee episode. Sadness :(

Time for me to go to bed so I can get up and go to church in a few hours!

Day 26

Today I slept until 1pm! CRAZY, I know. So anyways, I did my same ol' routine. Got up and ate. Ran. Showered. Headed to work. Work was good today. I'm getting to know more people at work so that makes it more enjoyable. Just got home a little while ago from work. About ready to go to bed. Oh yeah, I forgot! I also got a package from my parents today. I love getting packages and mail. And it's also 75 degrees down here on a regular basis!

Day 25

Great day!!

Today I got up a lot earlier than normal. Jackie and Emily and Ashley and I headed to Hollywood Studios! We totally rocked that park all day! We started off by riding Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror! By the end of the day, we'd ridden each of them 3 times! Ashley didn't get to stay with us the whole time because she had to go to work, but the other 3 of us had SO much fun the whole day! I actually rode Rockin' Roller Coaster an extra time by myself! LOVE IT! And we drew pictures at the animation station twice! We got to draw Goofy and Scrooge McDuck. I don't have pictures of our drawings, but here are some that I do have from our day!

Overall, we had an AMAZING day! I am so glad I got to spend time with 2 of my roomies that I don't normally get to see that often! We had so much fun at the park. Then we went and got pizza before heading back to the apartment. Later we went downstairs and chatted with some guys that we met that live in our building. Now I'm exhausted and for sure don't want to go back to work tomorrow... I need to run tomorrow too. Blah. Back to the old grind!

Day 24... Laundry Day

I hate laundry day. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather do laundry than wash dishes, but there's just something about how much time laundry takes. I got up this morning at a decent time for once. I went grocery shopping and then began my laundry endeavor. I started my laundry at probably 12:30. I've been doing laundry for the past 2 hours! And I'm STILL not done. I have 2 loads in the dryer and they won't be done until around 3:15. Now that's just annoying. This means that I have to stay around here until it's done. No park for me today and no shopping until it's done. Blah. I also really need to run. I'll probably run as soon as my laundry is done and then shower so I can go run some errands at Downtown Disney and maybe visit a couple of roomies at work! I'll finish this blog later.

What a fabulous night to top off a productive day! After my run and shower, I went to Downtown Disney. I just spent time by myself. It was nice to have a me day. Then I ran to Magic Kingdom to see if they had a ring I want in my size. Of course they didn't, but I did get to see part of the fireworks! Then I hopped the monorail over to Epcot to watch the fireworks there with Katie and her parents. It was awesome! From there I headed back to my car at Magic Kingdom and came back home. At home I just laughed and chatted with the roomies for a good hour! I love these girls! So we have this "Roomie Wall" that I came up with. All it is is a long piece of wrapping paper tacked to the wall, but we put all our fun quotes, drawings, pictures, and everything on it! Here's a picture of it...

It makes me so happy to look at it! We added a lot of quotes after our fun conversations tonight!! We also tried to listen to what was going on in the apartment next door tonight because a security guard came to the door...

Using the cups was my idea... too bad it didn't work! Jackie, Emily, and Katie were trying so hard to hear something! It was fun nonetheless! But now I'm the lone ranger in the living room since everyone else has gone to bed. Tomorrow will be a full day at Hollywood Studios! Me and Jackie and Emily are going to conquer that park! Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, here we come!

Day 23

So today I started out by laying out... it was GLORIOUS!! I am starting to get tan! YAY! Then I went for a run. It was a rough run today. Hoping it goes better tomorrow.

I headed to work and got placed in Cindy's. Now, Cindy's is actually Cinderella's Closet. It is one of our stock rooms. However, it is the stock room that processes all of the shipping and houses big figurines and castle playsets. That is it. There is NOTHING to do in Cindy's. I walked the store so many times picking up zero shipping. I also made my grocery and to-do list for tomorrow while I was working tonight. The time dragged on, but it finally ended. I took 2 of my friends home that I work with. We had a fun little chat on the way home. Oh and it's officially my weekend!! WOO HOO! I get tomorrow and Thursday off! YAY! Lots to get done tomorrow though.

Now it's time for bed. I want to watch a movie, but I can't decide if I should or not... it's almost 1 here. Maybe I'll start it and see how far I get...

Day 22

Another good day in Florida!

I got up and ran some errands before heading to the pool to lay out :)
It was SO beautiful outside and felt super amazing! I wanna be a bronze beauty by the time I get back in May!

I went for a run after eating some lunch. Then it was time to get ready for work... bleh.

At work I was on register. It went by kinda quick. I'm still having a lot of frustration when it comes to communicating with all of the foreign guests we have. I am praying for God to help me utilize my patience in these situations.

After work, I came home and chatted with the roomies. Now it's time for bed. One more day til my weekend begins!
