Day 117

Today was semi-productive for me. I got up and packed up some of my stuff. 2 boxes. It's a start. So then Katie came home and we went to the park to celebrate her birthday! We went to Magic Kingdom. It was fun, but I had to go to work, so I only got to do a few things with her and Em. I was almost late to work... which is typical when I go to the park, but I made it with 45 seconds to spare! Work was long and boring. I was in TCR tonight. I put in an er for 9:15, but it got denied. I was going to go see a movie with Katie and Em, but that didn't happen. They didn't even get to see it because it was sold out. They came and visited me though! After work, I took my friend Scott home and finally made it home. I'm tired and tomorrow I have my 5K with Jackie and Katie. I'm so ready for this week to be over. Only 5 more days of work left!!!! AHHH!!! SO EXCITING!!!!!

Day 116

Another awesome day of my life! This morning I got up and me and my friend Kelli from work went to Epcot. We walked around the world showcase and then ate lunch in Mexico to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! We got virgin margaritas and finished off the afternoon with some park hopping. We went to Hollywood to ride Rockin' and Tower before coming back to Epcot to ride Soarin'. It was a great day... then I had to go to work. Before work, me and Katie went to Publix for groceries. Then I headed to work. It went by fast because I learned how to pull registers. I LOVED it! And the girl I was pulling with was super nice so we chatted a lot. Now I'm home and it's officially Katie's b-day. Wish I was going to get to celebrate with her tomorrow, but I have to work. Sad day. But here's a pic from our fun Cinco de Mayo!!

Day 115... OHANU'S!!!

Today was an absolutely exhausting day!! This morning me and Katie went with her friends Alyssa and Randy to the parks. It was their first time and we celebrated Katie's birthday!! We were their little tour guides! It was so fun! We went to 3 of the 4 parks and hit a majority of the best attractions by 4:00! Then we headed back to the apartment because they had to get to some conference that they are actually here for. I was already exhausted from running through the park and it being 91 degrees outside today! We got home and went to the pool for a few. Katie swam laps while I laid on her float. It was amazing. I fell asleep. It was perfect. So then we came back to the room and I took the best power nap EVER!!! Then me and Katie headed back out around 7 to meet back up with her friends. We rode Soarin' before heading BACK home to get ready for Ohanu's. Ohanu's is the nice restaurant in the Polynesian Resort. It was AMAZING!!! We got to watch Wishes from our seats and we could see the castle perfectly! We were all dressed up and the food was delish! It just kept coming and coming and coming!!! I was SO full! They seriously keep bringing you food until you say stop! I ate SO much lo mein!! It was amazing! We had so much fun with our waiters too! They were great! Brandon was my favorite! He was AWESOME! We had a photo shoot afterwards with the most ridiculous pictures. I was completely exhausted and I get SUPER loopy when I'm tired. It was hilarious! Definitely one of the best nights ever! Day 114... Universal!!

Today me and Katie got up and went to Universal. It was another wonderful Katie-Katelyn day!! We hit all the right rides at just the right times. We only waited 10 minutes for Rip Ride Rockit (the best coaster ever) and 5 for the Hulk. It was awesome! We almost got everything done that Katie wanted to do for her list of completing the park. We also ate lunch at Margaritaville. We celebrated her birthday so she got a free dessert! It was yummy ice cream. We were STUFFED. So after we got done, we headed out. I had a softball game tonight. I pitched pretty well. Went 2 for 4. We were down 5-4 going into the bottom of the last inning. We won the game with 2 outs! It was crazy, but I had a blast! Afterwards, one of my friends from the team gave me a tour of a couple of the resorts. It was fun. We walked around the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. They're both really nice! So then I came home and had a fun little chat with Katie before showering. Now I'm heading to bed. OH and me and Brianna's shift exchange requests got approved so now I can play in my last softball game next week!!! YAY! Oh and 2 of my friends from WOD got termed last night... yikes! Time for bed! Another fun filled day off tomorrow to celebrate Katie's b-day at Disney parks!!!

Day 113

Almost to my last weekend of the program!!! Today is my Friday!

I got up and ran some errands this morning. I then came home to eat lunch and do laundry. Not my fav, but it had to be done. During all that, I got a phone call from the principal at Springfield High School asking if I would like to interview for a math position there. I told him I'd already accepted a position at East Robertson!!! It's so awesome to say that! Later on, the Heritage principal also called me and told me the specific positions I would be able to have if I were still interested. I had to turn it down too. She was upset to have lost out on me. That is definitely a confidence booster. So anyways, I got ready for work and headed out for my 9 1/2 hour shift...

Work was ok. I was floor stock so I straightened EDR which is the room with all the mugs and stuff in it. I got 2 breaks, but I still was exhausted so I put in an er and got it! I got to leave at 12:15. So now I'm home and ready for bed. Tomorrow is going to be an AWESOME Katie-Katelyn day!!!

Day 112

I had a great day today! I woke up and laid in bed for a long time. It was good to just be lazy. I got up and went to see about my phone getting fixed. Once again I got the run around and came away with a chump of an answer as to why my phone is acting up. SO then me and Jackie went to Animal Kingdom to see Katie and play for a couple of hours. Then we took Katie home with us. I had to work tonight. It was long, but I did TCR so that meant I was helping cash in the register drawers tonight. It was a good night at work I guess. I got my schedule today for my last week! I'm going to try to switch a couple of shifts with Brianna so I can play in my last softball game! I really hope they approve it! Time for bed now!

Day 111

Another day. Another shift.

I forgot to blog about yesterday because I was so tired when I got home. SO yesterday I got up and found out that one of my besties, Lindsey Mary Elizabeth Beck Mason Killian, was at Magic Kingdom so I got ready and went to hang out with her!! Her and David (her husband) were here with the church she works at. It was SO good to see her!

We spent a few hours together and then I had to go to work. I came home and got ready and then me and Kelli headed out.

Work was long but I did get off at a somewhat nice time. I was done at 11:45. So then me and Kelli sat in some fabulous traffic before finally making it home. I chatted with Jackie before heading to bed.
